Terms of Service
Welcome to Zernar, a specialized, high-performance digital hub dedicated to privacy-first professional calculators and web utilities. By accessing, browsing, or otherwise interfacing with the application layer and tools provided on Zernar.com, you (the 'User') formally acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be legally bound by these comprehensive Terms of Service. These terms constitute a binding legal agreement between the User and Zernar. Our platform is engineered using a 'Zero-Server' architecture, meaning your interaction with our tools occurs strictly within your local environment. If you do not agree with any specific provision of these terms, or if you reside in a jurisdiction where the use of such client-side computational tools is restricted, you must discontinue your use of our website immediately. Continued utilization of Zernar services signifies your ongoing and irrevocable consent to these protocols.
1. Permitted Use and Intellectual Property License
Zernar grants you a revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and limited license to access and utilize our proprietary suite of web-based tools strictly in accordance with the provisions outlined in these Terms. This license is provided for both individual personal planning and non-commercial professional evaluation. However, it is critical to understand that while our tools execute on your hardware, the underlying intellectual property is not transferred to the User. The source code, compiled WebAssembly (Wasm) binaries, JavaScript modules, proprietary mathematical algorithms, UI/UX architectural designs, branding, and all textual content are the exclusive property of Zernar and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and trade secret laws. You are strictly prohibited from attempting to reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, scrape, frame, or autonomously extract our application logic. Furthermore, the use of automated systems or 'bots' to scrape data or bypass our client-side protections is a material breach of this license. Republishing, redistributing, or 'white-labeling' our tools on external domains without explicit, notarized written consent from the Zernar legal team will result in immediate termination of access and potential legal action.
2. Strict Disclaimer of Warranties and Mathematical Accuracy
All calculators, heuristic models, and informational resources hosted on Zernar are provided on a strictly 'as is' and 'as available' basis, without any warranties of any kind. Zernar unequivocally disclaims all warranties, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. While our engineering team utilizes peer-reviewed formulas and clinical baselines (such as the Mifflin-St Jeor equation for BMR or official OEM data for Automotive TCO), we make no absolute guarantees, representations, or warranties regarding the 100% precision, reliability, or currentness of the results generated. Computational models are inherently simplified representations of complex, multi-variable real-world systems. Factors such as regional inflation variance, individual metabolic adaptation, or hardware-specific power transients mean that results are estimations only. Zernar disclaims any liability for errors, logical omissions, or micro-calculation variances arising from the browser's local execution environment.
3. Limitation of Liability for Financial, Health, and Engineering Decisions
Zernar is an informational and computational resource, not a certified professional advisory service. The outputs generated by our Health tools do not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment and should never replace consultation with a licensed healthcare provider. The financial projections from our Automotive and Math hubs are illustrative and should not be the sole basis for high-stakes financial purchases, loan agreements, or investment strategies. Our PC Builder tools provide wattage estimations, but the final responsibility for hardware compatibility and electrical safety lies entirely with the User. In no event shall Zernar, its developers, affiliates, or infrastructure providers be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages—including but not limited to hardware component failure, financial loss, lost wages, health complications, or data corruption—arising from your reliance on the tools provided. You use these tools at your own risk, acknowledging that digital computations involve inherent uncertainties.
7. Modifications to the Service and Terms
Zernar reserves the sovereign right to modify, update, suspend, or permanently discontinue any calculator, utility, or specific feature on the platform at our sole discretion, without prior notice or liability. We may also revise these Terms of Service periodically to reflect evolving legal requirements, new technical standards, or the addition of new hubs (e.g., Zernar.Math or Zernar.Img). Any modifications will be immediately effective upon being published on this page. Your continued use of Zernar.com following the posting of updated Terms constitutes your formal, legally binding acceptance of those modifications. We encourage users to review this page regularly to stay informed of our current legal standing.
